new year's day

i went to enoshima to visit shrine and see hatsuhinode (the sun which rises on the new years day).
one of my friends took us there by his car.

this is what i ate the first in 2009. an "oden-can"!!! my friend gave it to me.
it is available near my house.
i ate it for the first time b it was not so good for me...
i like convenience stores' oden better.
what is ur favorite in oden?
my favorite is a chikuwabu (i dont know what we say in english).


we arrived at enishima and visited the shrine first.there were a lot of people though it was already over 3 a.m.
we threw money into an offertory box and drew an omikuji.
my fortune was "sho-kichi", which was the worst of us all. :-(

on the way to the enoshima beach, we saw a juggler!!!
i had never seen such a juggling.
and his performance was great!!!
he juggled three sticks on the unsettled foothold. awesome! lol

then we waited for rising the sun on the beach.
it was soooooooooooooooo cold.
we were so bored that we started playing card game even on the sand!
i know we were so crazy. haha

finally, the sun rose!!!!! it was so beautiful!!!!!! i was so happy to see it.

after that, i got home and ate zoni which my mom made.

it was so good. :-D

i like rice cake so i ate it a lot.

anyway, i hope we all enjoy in 2009!!!
